I should be doing school work right now, but I'm stupid so I'm not gonna until I finish this.
I just joined a First Nations group (that's Native Americans, for the uninformed) and it led me to think, hey, what ethnicities am I exactly? Well, here is goes.
I am Dutch, I am Samoan, I am Irish, I am Scottish, I am English (but I like to pretend I'm not), I am Australian, I am German, I am French, I am Quebecoise, and I am Passamaquoddy (First Nations).
I'm not sure about the blood quantum, the only thing I am sure about is that I'm 25% Samoan, because my father is half-Samoan (my grandfather immigrated here from Samoa). I don't look it, AT ALL, unless you look at my body shape (my face and skin belong to a white girl, but my body is a Samoan girl's). It's kind of annoying, really, as people look as me and swear up and down that I'm not Samoan, but I am, so they can all fuck themselves.
Hence my handle thing. Palangi is the Samoan word for "white person". Well, I look white, but I'm Samoan too, so I figured Palangi worked. I supposed the more correct term (more or less) is Afakasi (meaning "half-caste"), but whatever, this one is easier to say (Pal-ahng-ee).
For those of you who don't know where Samoa is, it's a series of two islands in the Pacific. There's American Samoa and Western Samoa (I think it's still called that). Our family is from American Samoa (which is an American Territory), specifically from around Pago Pago (Pa-ahng-o Pa-ahng-o... any time there is an A and a G next to each other, it gets really nasally, like French). We are a huge people who really like our pig (which is cooked underground all yummy-like). I don't know much about the culture as most of our Samoan family ditched us when Grampa married a white-woman (my gramma). So, past all this useless information, I don't know much else.
Oh yeah! We pretty much invented Tattoos (I know I'll probably get protests, but this is how I heard it). Only we were friggin' hard core, we used bones and rocks and shit for all over body tatts, like this:
So, boo-yah all you other people. My dad was supposed to get one like that (being a chief's son), but he's a big chicken, so I doubt he'll ever do it.
As for the Passamaquoddy (my other brown race amid all the white), I'm not sure about how much I am. It's passed on through my momma and I'm still looking for our relative (I'm really into genealogies and family trees and shit). I know that we were one of the first tribes decimated by the white folk (which is funny because my mom's husband is related to the second government of Jamestown). They are also one of the richest. And, they were a woodland tribe on the border of Maine and Canada.
OK, I need to work on my thing now.

No interesting status in any of these cultures though, like Son of a Chief's son or something.
by the way, You should see "Tokyo Zombie" since you like Zombie films.
Good luck on the homework.
