i'm going to be buying a camera in a few days. i'm looking for something good enough to shoot sets with but not something that costs eight thousand dollars. does this exist?

What's your price range? A lot of the new Canon powershot cameras are really good quality with lots of features and high resolution for just a few hundred dollars. I'll do a little research and come up with some options for you if you let me know how much you're looking to spend.
