what a nightmare our health care system is..ughhhh spent the past few days wading through phone calls and paper work to get treatment and meds.
at least i have fond out there is a Victims of Violent Crimes program where they will reimburse me for all expenses related to getting assulted/mugged/whatever you want to call it - they will even help pay for me to move which i very much want to do - i just do not want to live right next to where this went down....
so ughh a search for a new place i hate house hunting with a passion, but i do kind of need a more functional space anyway - something more live/work oriented - where i can shoot, make a mess wih tools etc. yet still keep some living space. Not the easiest thing to find on my budget, but crossing fingers....
had a good time playing at being a DJ at the Chez Paree last night - will be back there again this evening though acheron (goes by "meow" at the club) will nto be there until late as she has to review show at slims for powerslave - oh well - it will be fun - a little stressful, but it is a good time -- the most hilarious thing is we are running the setup through an old 1970s amp with an 8track deck in it - i was laughing my ass off - all my computer gear and then the way back machine to pump out the sound from - oh well - it worked

Once in a while you may find something that works in a completely different way. e.g. for music, when i was looking for a rehearsal/recording space, most of the listings were for professional rehearsal spaces. But they were either too expensive or noisy. One day I got lucky and spotted a listing for a room, not to far from my apartment, in a warehouse that was already converted to a sound space. There's another guy that is renting another room in the same building that does art installations. He doesn't live there though.
