I've had my eye on a huge old steamer chest at an antique store near work. Today I finally decided to get in there and haggle my way into a deal. I didn't fare so well with my haggling - they knew I wanted it, I've been checking it out for about 2 months now. I did manage to get them down to fifty bones, which is more than I wanted to pay, but not bad.
This thing looks great. It has a very "bring out the gimp" look to it that is going to really tie the room together. Now I can get rid of that Wal Mart special POS coffee table for something more unique. Hurray for me.
