I'm tired, I didn't sleep at all last night, so I'm gonna post the Star Wars trivia later. Any way I just picked up the new Nick Cave album and.... holy shit what an album. It is truly one of the best albums I have heard in a while.
On another subject I rented The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, I decided to give the movies another chance, to let go and just see if I could enjoy them and you know what? I actually found myself really enjoying the movies.
Well, that's it for me, my time is up, you've been a great crowd. Before I go I want to leave you with some wisdom from one of my personal hero Bill Hicks.
"But that's what fundamentalism breeds though, no irony, they take the word literaly. Once again I reccomend a healthy dose of psilocyban mushrooms. Three weeks ago two of my friends and I went to a ranch in Fredricksburg, Texas and took what Terrence McKenna calls a "heroic dose"... Five dried grams let me tell you our third eye was squeegeed quite cleanly"
"And I'm glad they're against the law, 'cause you know what happened when I took 'em? I laid in a field of green grass for four hours going "my God..I love everything!"
"The heavens parted God looked down and rained gifts of forgiveness on to my bieng healing me on every level; psychicly, physically, emotionally, and I realized that our true nature was spirit not body, that we are eternal biengs and God's love is unconditional and there is nothing we can ever do to change that. It is only our ILLUSION that we are seperate from God or that we are alone. When in fact the reality is that we are one with God and He loves us......"
"Now if that isn't a HAZARD to this country....you see my point. How are we going to keep building nuclear weapons? You know what I mean? What's going to happen to the arms industry when we realize we're all one? It's gonna fuck up the economy, the economy that's FAKE anyway, which would be a real bummer. So you can see why the government's cracking down on the idea of experiencing unconditional love."
