I need some advice, please... but first some Trek

You know here's he thing I don't understand, I love a girl who was engaged, but because she cheated on him (with me), they dropped the engagement, but they are "dating" again.

He treats her like shit, and she admits that he treats her like shit, and I treat her like a queen, how a woman deserves to be treated. However, because of the memories of the past (like almost two years ago), she'd rather be with him. Even though it has only gotten worse and worse over the years.

Why, why would a woman put up with this? can somebody explain this? I don't get this, are all women in love this fucking stupid?

God I'm so fucking drunk....

That age gap is a problem too. I have been in that same situation when I dated a girl 5 years younger than me. Although the circumstances were probably different from yours, I was also deeply in love. After 2 years of dating, then proposing, it seemed that love and hope had paid off. Two months later, she called and broke off the engagement because she was now dating another man. After that, I never heard from her again. I guess at that age, women do not know what they truly want.

Another question you should ask yourself, but don't have to answer: If she cheated on him to be with you, how do you know she won't do the same to you?

If you have high hopes and fail, prepare for the long fall.

That's true what you said about Jack Handy. But knowing how that environment can drive someone to insanity, maybe those were really his "Deep Thoughts."
