12 days from now i will be in southern california for a week! it'll be for work but hey, socal in the winter isn't too bad. couple days in Irvine then down to San Diego for 4 days. looking forward to the good food out there. not that there isn't good food to be found in Chattanooga, it's just i get to expense my food...

just a quick blog... got my menu for tomorrow planned out. it's only a couple people this year so i'm not going big even though there is so much good stuff to make. anyway, it going to be brined and grilled cornish hens; sage, sausage and apple dressing; green bean cassarole; and possibly sweet potatos. that and some red wine and everyone should be happy....

just got back from three weeks on the road... feels good to be home but i have a LOT to get caught up on.

gonna be in Florida for the next two weeks. Mostly for work but I'm gonna spend a couple of days helping out with the Ride 2 Recovery crew... helping out injured soldiers on their way to recovery/rehab as they ride across Florida. Helping others is refreshing and puts my mind back where it needs to be.

so i've spent a bit of time in airports the past two weeks and i can't help but wonder, how many missed connections we must encounter in our lives. i'm not talking planes here, i'm talking people. airports are so condensed with people... some you may know, some might be 'the one' that you just missed meeting, and others could be a best friend you...

sorry that i haven't updated in a while. to be honest, not much has really been going on in my life lately outside of work but i'm gonna look at the bright side and see that nothing bad has happened either

oh, and i the only one that has noticed that there are a LOT of beautiful women on SG these days i love it!

driving, driving, driving... that's what i'm up too for the next handful of weeks. off to texas this next week and then at some point before the end of august i will be in florida georgia and maryland. sept. sees me in SoCal and vegas for a week each. all for work. i guess it could be worse though, i could be broke and jobless....
