Long time, no appear!
I've been super busy a work, wrapping up a 6-month contract which ends tomorrow. Maybe after I get my camera back from said ending job I'll make use of my terrifying unemployment and make something pretty.
No promises.
Still?
Tell me something interesting so that I have something bright to look forward to when I emerge, blinking, from my work-cave.
Season's Greetings!
I don't have a lot to share personally; mainly I've just been super busy at work, and reminding myself that I still want to be a runner sometimes. That's actually a feat given the weather change. Running in below freezing weather, and running so hard I break a sweat and set a personal speed record? I feel like I'm doing something right this

I caught up on Doctor Who so that I could watch tonight's special and that means that my worst fear has come true:
I have run out of Doctor Who!
Someone declare a marathon. I am a sad panda.
Hey! So I am all good kinds of exhausted.
Death's Daughter officially got funded! Phew!~
And I ran the Philadelphia Marathon yesterday.
Not my best time ever, but I feel good about the way that I ran, so that counts for something.
My roommate says I look pissed off in this picture. Really I was just tired and it was really bright out, and I

The kickstarter for Death's Daughter and the Basket of Kittens ends tomorrow. Please help me spread the word tonight to get some last minute jump-ins happening!
Tomorrow I am running Philadelphia Marathon. Wish me a lot of luck! I am not feeling like I have been eating and drinking enough lately. Oops.
I don't have much internet access here at the hotel here in Philadelphia.

Less than 36 hours left of my friend's kickstarter campaign.
Which means I will get back to writing a book soon and disappear for a while. Aren't you so lucky?
In the meantime, if I haven't talked you into checking out her project? Check out her project!
....So I totally think I went overboard with the creeper eye action in this, but it makes

About five years ago, I was privileged enough to make the acquaintance of an artist named Martha Hull. Quiet and unassuming, in cat-rim glasses and an oversized blazer, she appears to stand on the sassy side of ordinary.
One visit to her underground studio, however, was enough to prove that she is anything but ordinary - even by Portland standards.
Martha's work is colourful, vibrant,

Help!!! Death's Daughter has a mere three days left to gather funding.
If you like the concept, please help share the project via twitter, kickstarter, facebook, etc.
The Kickstarter is more than halfway there, but the funding for these projects start really slow rise up to a whirlwind in the last few days as everyone tries to see if projects are happening before they go

Good luck with your marathon. I'm wishing you warmer weather, but the weather tends to ignore my wishes most of the time.
And now, continuing my mission to bring love (and other people's wallets) to my favourite kickstarter campaign....I bring you....
live action reenactments of Death's Daughter and the Basket of Kittens.
...and by live action, I clearly mean, a self portrait and a severe lot of photoshoppery.
When I was offloading the photoshoot I did for this image, I accidentally deleted all the good photos,

Okay, so this happened.
Yep.
You can't really tell in photographs, but it's a full hawke.....that just happens to be about 2 feet long. If I can ever figure out how to spike all that* I win the game.
<3.
In the meantime, a reminder:
Reapers and Kittens!!! Go kickstart this shit.
*and navigate space without taking down pedestrians...
So I cut off two thirds of my hair on wednesday. I am in complete hair love with myself now, so there's that. Haircuts are monumental to me. Mainly because I am lazy and overly emotionally invested in my hair, so I only touch that mane every few years. ....lalalala.

So I came home, took a "Before" picture.....
...and cut of two thirds of my hair. Now it is kind of my dream hair. Alas, "After" pictures will have to wait until daylight.
In the meantime? you should check out my friend's perfectly Halloweenie kickstarter: Death's Daughter and the Basket of Kittens
....Don't you wish I still knew how
