I'm reading "Rockbound", by Frank Parker Day, the final selection from the "Canada Reads" competition on CBC. I'll post some comments when I'm done. So far it paints a pretty bleak picture of life as a Nova Scotia fisherman, but there are hints that the protagonist is going to turn out okay in the end...
