For a change, this photo is not a metaphor for life. I just like it.

i couldn't stand the film version of gone with the windbecause i felt they didnt stay true to mitchell's vision. most irritating to me was the casting of clark gable as rhett butler. i'm sure margaret had somebody else in mind when she wrote about rhett!!! now, i have nothing against gable but he reminds of me of a skinny chicken. rhett is supposed to be built like a brawny pirate and have well-defined jawbones and wide shoulders, and gable just doesnt have that.//wiseblood is a good read. it's not much for plot, but it has some very memorable characters. give it a try, it's a short book! it won't take you more than an hour or two.//happy belated valentine's, i didnt mention it before, i'm sorry! i hope you had a fiery evening out with a saucy vixen.// it's hard for me to imagine such a beautiful little waterfall can be close to a highway. it must be a canada thing.// bush wants an amendment in the u.s. constitution protecting the sanctity of marriage between man and woman. what an idiot (at least on this issue)! as long as two people love each other, it doesnt matter if both have a hoo-hoo or a ha-ha.// i haven't been online recently, i missed you! i look forward to your photos.

so yeah i got over gable's chickenlike qualities for the most part, and i now enjoy watching the film. do you have a favorite actor/actress? and which role (that he/she took) exemplified his/her artistry? and did you really like gangs of new york
