crazy cosmic forces took over my weekend. Nothing could be done to stop them. To much could be said about the circumstances.
Yet, I am so tired right now that I can barely type. Maybe it was not as trippy as it feels right now. Maybe I will fill the SG clique in, and maybe I won't. So do not feel bad if I don't....

I fasted from Thursday until Monday. On Monday, in the after noon, I ate a veggie omlette and some hashbrowns. I forgot how good something as simple as that could be.
Days 1,2, were not entirely to bad. Day 3 and 4 was real hard. I felt weak, and all that I could think about was food. On Monday I knew I was going to...

four days, huh. Yeah, I'd like to do that - but I've got a bit of a temper and no food = very grumpy minky. I've never done more than 2 days, which I don't think is very satisfying. I wouldn't mind being brand new.

fasting is the worlds most ancient and natural healing mechanism. Practiced mostly in eastern cultures, but also in ancient greece. Famous western minds such as paracles, aristotle, plato, and pythagorous recommended it for all of their students.

wow, I wish I could do that. I don't think that would be a good idea while weight training, though.....and I don't know if I have the will power anyways. good luck.
Today I saw "Kill bill" volume 1, the new Tarantino movie. Coolest movie I have seen in a long time. Can't wait for vol2.

I saw "Bowling for Columbine" when it came out in the theater. I saw it with my best friend in the world. It was a powerful picture. I just rented it from the movie shop. this time I watched it alone. It was just as powerful, but on my second viewing it seemed to move me more. Especially the "what a wonderful world" collage. DAMN....

Today I raced some of my pals down the hill on 6th ave, and 2nd street. On a skateboard, zigging and zagging between cars and at top speed racing two other skaters. We raced each other down the hill ten times, I came close, but never won. With major speed wobbles, and the world racing by one second from death or enlightenment. What a rush.

As I see society, people make the arts into
commercial products. They even think of themselves
as commodities, and also make implements for their
commercial value. This attitude is like flowers compared with seeds: the flowers are more numerous than the seeds; there is more decoration than reality.

I think I agree. Everyone (friends and relatives) has had an opinion on the neighborhood, and few of them have mirrored any of the optimism I have for it. Those houses are beautiful.
Restoring homes is what I do best.
That neighborhood will be great again- im sure of it.
I mean, my mother remembers most of uptown being shady, and really ethnic, and alot of the houses were falling apart, and being neglected.
A little elbow grease and it has come a long way. I also think "uptown" will continue to expand down Lake St., increasing property value.
Anyways...thanks again for the comment!
