Is it normal for misanthropes to hate other misanthropes?
Let me back up. Today I did my usual Wednesday routine which involves going to the Walnut Creek BART Station and heading to the comic shop for my haul. Sometimes I take the Downtown Shuttle if I don't have enough time to catch the bus I have to transfer to (and since it's free....).
Anyway, I went today and I gave my friend who works there her Christmas gift, which is this piece of Zatanna right here:
I originally bought it from someone off of Tumblr for myself, but decided that it would do much better in a home who could take better care of it (see: actually putting it up). Well, Susie LOVED it, and was really excited. Great stuff.
Anyway, on the way home, I took the shuttle back because I bought a new long box and didn't want to walk from the BART Station to my place.
This is where my original statement comes into play.
Now, the Walnut Creek Downtown Shuttle is free. There is no cost to board, and it takes you all over the shopping district of the city (which just so happens to be adjacent to where I live holllaaaaa). But because people were walking up to the Shuttle as it was leaving, the bus would stop and let them on. Because that's what it should do.
This dude was getting hella mad about that! He was slamming his paper down every time someone got on and was shooting eye daggers at this family that boarded. He shot everyone dirty looks and I really just wanted to punch him. He had a specific problem with these kids in the family(all aged between 3 and 9, about 4 of them) for whatever reason when these kids were probably the most well-behaved children I've EVER seen.
I'm just thinking "Bro, you're on a FREE bus. They're allowed on too. And quite frankly, they're being more grown-up than you are right now."
Ugh. People.
How was everybody's Christmas? Mine was small but nice. My parents got me a deep fryer >
