Heh, sometimes I don't get blogs. People will comment about stupid funny shit, but when I get serious, there's not much comfort. BUT I'm not here to complain.
The past week has been a little better. I've been staying with my friend's grandparents, and it's been working out alright. They're great people and it's a big house, so it hasn't been crowded. But we have to find a new place to crash soon because my friends are coming into town and they need a place to stay themselves. But my family and I found a place that's fairly cheap for a weekly stay and hopefully we'll find a new place through a foundation for homeless and displaced families called Rubicon. Maybe even get on Section 8 which would help them out, and then I could possibly move out on my own, which I've wanted to do for a while now.
There's still been some tough times. Yesterday my stepfather had to go to the doctor because he was feeling dizzy. I thought it was his diabetes, but it turns out he had a mini stroke. One that still left him alert and ambulatory, but a stroke nonetheless. He's going back in to get his carotid artery checked.
Hopefully I'll have a new place soon, but I'm not really holding my breath.
