For the simple fact that it would dawn on me that things between you and him wouldn't last and we could return to our "agreement".
But Fail. He was a really nice dude, and once he started to open up a little bit, i realized that i actually liked him.

He then won me over even more with the in-the-car-douchebag statement, i may have to take him to dinner.

I was kind of nervous to talk to you, more than anything else, i was worried we would be dealing with jealous "don't talk to Rob" Dustin, but that doesn't look like it's going to be the case.
I will probably do what i have been doing for the last couple years on my birthday.....sleep through it until it's over. Or take the bike out for a ride. Thank you for the offer though.
I still think he's far too quiet to hang around with us. You're going to need to break him of that before we hang out again. And for the record... I'm not even sure that I'm "like us." In fact, I'm probably not. Either way, I'm glad he felt comfortable.

Well, my mom is going to be just fine as of right now. The tumor on her thyroid is benign, however, there are cold spots, so it will be removed asap. The surgeon will be making the appointment this week and it should happen before the month is over. The one risky part of the surgery is that it could damage her vocal chords.
I think this is the longest I've gone without putting up a new blog since I became a member.
Work has been absolutely insane lately. We are in a major transition period, plus it's just been plain busy business-wise. I go to work and then I come home and just kind of blank out. Most days I end up exhausted and napping right after work.... Read More

You know how i feel about the mom situation. You only get one mom, there will be other Dublin Irish Festivals. I won't tell you what to do, but family should come first in that type of situation in my opinion.
