So last weeks blog homework was if anything supernatural had ever happened to you. I kept forgetting to get round to it but I'm suffering from a cold after the Ballroom Blitz so now's a good time as any.
@missy @rambo pls forgive me for being late I have a sick note.
So growing up in the house in which I am currently residing, my bedroom is what used to be the kitchen before we had an extension added. This means my bedroom is located adjacent to the living room. Now for years and YEARS I used to fall asleep to the sound of someone still up watching TV.
Or so I thought.
It wasn't until I had moved out and temporarily moved back that one night I got out of bed for one reason or another full on expecting to come across my mum watching TV. Nobody was awake. I could DEFINITELY hear MULTIPLE voices conversing just before I left the room. Upon realising this I checked after how loud you could hear the TV through my room and figured that what I was hearing was definitely not the sound of the TV. It definitely sounded like a conversation.
My mum is a bit of a biker chick and goes on a lot of charity runs and such so she has a big social circle. One of the lovely ladies she met through this was a medium. When my mum would go to visit her she'd stay overnight and she always had these weird habits because the spirits have a tendency to not leave her alone when she goes to sleep. So she has to check everything is off and tidied away and stuff. She'd quite often have short conversations with them around my mum when they got too irritating. She came to our house once and told us there was an old lady on the bench in the garden. (this bench is placed there PURELY because underneath is a bit of a pet cemetery so we put concrete slabs down and put the bench on top so the foxes wouldnt dig) We were like..cool. okay. She took my other halves hand and sat her down next to the lady on the bench. He swore he could feel her hand on his shoulder.
Another incident, and by far the creepiest, happened when I was in my room one day. Down the hallway directly opposite my bedroom door we used to have these portraits of our great great great great grandparents or whatever. Yknow the photos.
This shit.
So yeah, they were super creepy but I dig that, they looked really cool in mismatch frames along the hallway.
As I was saying, I was in my room one night, and I heard a bang. I open my bedroom door and one of the frames is on the floor. Now, that alone is super weird that it fell of by itself but that wasn't it. It hadn't somehow miraculously lifted itself off and over the hook and on the floor. It had been ripped. The cardboard back to the frame had ripped off entirely leaving the bit with the hole still hanging from the nail. It wasn't a heavy frame, it wasn't even A4 in size. Nobody was out there, I was alone in the house.
But somebody ripped that picture off the wall.
