Here's an interesting problem!

And after tonight, it has turned into this:
When doing the same pose in multiple sessions, I always hit problems of perspective and proportion. For example, in the first picture, the figure is well composed, but the head is maybe too big. So in the second I proceeded from an effort of fixing that on to rendering out the rest of her with a bit more detail, and now she looks off somehow. Some magic of proportion and composition has been lost.
It's still fixable, I think, but this sort of thing is always happening. It's one of the biggest frustrations.
I was trying to zen myself out tonight, but it just didn't work. Sometimes it's like meditation. Other times it's like trying to untangle a really long extension cord.

I really like the first one, head too big or not. The second one has more angular proportions too, no?
