Ok, so I think I may have been a bit melodramatic (sp?) in my last post. I did go ut and drink heavily the night before, so a drinking party at my house just wasn't flying so well, especially after being hung over most of the day. However, my dramatic mood seemed to fit quite well in my house this weekend. On Friday, my housemate's ex (who is always around) was fianlly enough of a jack ass for her to kick him out of the house. He then stayed on our porch for an hour and a half trying to get her to talk to him, but finally left after relaizing this was hopeless. He was therefore not invited to attend our small gathering, which was good becasue then she hooked up with our other housemate. Apparently thier hidden love for each other all along finally came out and some good things happened. Or something. I think I was in my room trying to sleep at the time, so I have no idea what was going on.
Reagardless, I'm happy for them. They get along really well and are all cute and make me want to smile and say "awwww" all the time. I think that it will be ok, even though they live together since both of them are mature enough to handle fights well.
I worked all day today. First at the bookstore, then at the call center. I figured out that drinking a lot of coffee before I go to call people makes me much more cheerful and talk a bit quicker, which is good on a 10-20min survey. It does, however, have the adverse side effect of me very hyper since I don't drink coffee that much during the summer.

Sounds like an interesting party. I can totally identify with what you say about using cop outs to avoid social interaction. I've been doing the same thing pretty much since I got to Portland. I'm the type of person that likes to connect with the people I'm spending time with, of course that could just be an excuse
.
