So today I finally have something worth telling you about Iraq. So the U.S. government gave the Iraqi army totally control of Iraq, i'm not sure what this means for me and my situation, but I don't think it could be bad. This is a pivitol step to getting me the hell out of here. They have been closing military insulations out here and will probably (hopefully) keep doing so. We have given a pretty big hand full of bases back to the Iraqi army while I've been out here and we will be giving them more within the next several months. I'm not sure yet if this is going to change the plans for the next deployment that was scheduled for us but if anything can, this is it... I'll keep you updated as I learn more info, although, it's hard to desiguish what is fact and what is rummor... Hope everyone is doing well.
