See ya'll later, I just cancelled my account. I'm trying to cut back on random stupid internet usage. My myspace is emogoddess or my facebook is my actual name (for those of you who know me that well). It's been fun...

Crestone Music Fest was this weekend. I had tons of fun, the headliner on Sun night was an Argentinian band called Los Pinguos (the Penguins, cute) and I danced my little booty off! Live music is fun. I also bought a really cute cowboy hat, since I'm apparently moving to Montana in the next few months, I decided that was apropo. Lover man is going...

Well, I'm back from South Dakota. Words really can't express the experiences I had there, but it was an amazing trip. Sundance was truly incredible, with everyone focused on praying for the 4 days of the ceremony, plus 4 days before and after. The dancers don't take food or water for the 4 days, and the energy there becomes so pure that everything takes on...

It's been six weeks since I've had a drop of alcohol. It's been a really great thing for me, but especially for my lover, and our relationship has really evolved in that time in a good way. Partying is fun and all, but I'm ready to do more constructive things with my life like build a community and have a baby (someday biggrin ) and I...

Spring is great, but very windy here in Crestone. Also, it snowed for two days last week, but today it was 70 again. I've been working tons, at the health food store in town, caretaking for an elderly gentleman, and working construction with my boyfriend. Some combo of the weather and work gave me a pretty good sinus infection last week, which I'm finally starting...

The US economic system (The Federal Reserve) is essentially run by private, wealthy international bankers who make the money and lend it to the government at INTEREST, creating a perpetually destabilizing pattern of debt. All the money paid to the IRS in income taxes goes to pay the interest on the money that the...

Rilo Kiley in May!! That's when you need to come...Cloud cult is also playing that weekend, and Atmosphere....it's a Saturday/Sunday/Monday of shows. I think May 9th or 10th or something like that. Mindy is taking off two weekends from this coming one, I believe (24thish). I'm sad. frown

and yeah, we're starting some plants in the greenhouse at school for our annual herb fair. we sell lots of plants and put it into the garden and into our annual graduation party. which promises to be a sweet deal this year.
my pear-ginger melomel just stopped actively fermenting a few days ago. i'm so stoked to drink it at the end of next month! it's so bloody tasty i can't even believe it. i might bottle some and age it to see how it is but not very much at all.
what are you going to try growing?

So, I don't post too much on here about the debauchery that occurs up here in the mountains. Last Sat night was a prime example of the fun and craziness that I get into. We went to a funeral for our friend's dog, Igor. It was a balmy 20 degrees and the roads finally melted off enough to take the Harley out, so the man...

I filed my taxes today, yay!! I'm happy since my refund will be bigger than I thought it would, I only hope I did everything right since I had to file for myself this year. I can really use this money, since I just ended up replacing my brakes, including 3 of my rotars which was a big bummer. I also recently found out I...

I'm in the Denver area tonight and I'm hanging out with some of my favorite people. I also had a client today and drove four hours from the mountain hideaway, went to HIghlands Ranch, Boulder, Golden, and Littleton (in that order). The city is kind of overwhelming even though I've only been living out in the sticks for a few months. I think I'm a...

at least you did a fairly logical circuit of the cities in the area. could have been way more driving involved.
and isn't that just typical of heaters? they won't go off in the summer and won't turn on in the winter. i guess that's what clothes are for, at the end of the day.
i hope you find a sense of being at peace when you go see your grandma, if you're feeling anything but.

It feels like spring here even though it was only 1 degree when I got up this morning. Something about the quality of the light. I recently took out almost all of my piercings, the only ones I have left are my belly button, nose, and my plugs. It feels really good, actually, I don't miss them at all.

I got a bow that is...

That sounds like a wonderful plan!! I am hoping that we can get down there to visit sometime this summer. I'm going through withdrawls from that place.
