Hey guys!
Okay, so I know I'm really awful at posting on SuicideGirls and being active in general - I'm sorry, I'm so busy all the time! :(
But thought that because I have a bit of free time tonight for once I could write a little blog, writing about my experiences since I've started modelling (I hope I don't bore you!) and the amazing models i've met and photographers I've shot with!
I guess this is almost an appreciation post?
Okay, so let's start at the beginning!
Although this may sound a little silly, but I started modelling due to the fact that I hated pretty much everything about myself and wanted to try and change things a little. All my life (or at least as long as I can remember) I've been really body conscious and have hated the way I look - in both face and body.. I got embarrassed wearing a bikini swimming or to the beach, I found it difficult getting naked in front of ex's and all that, but one day I thought to myself "I've had enough of this. I want to do something to change myself and feel more confident in the way I look". So I decided I'd try modelling!
I did my very first shoot with the amazingly talented @mikewhitephotog and at first I was really nervous (of course!) but eventually my confidence built up thanks to his reassurance, compliments and creating stunning images of me. When I looked at the professional images he took of me, I guess I saw myself in a different light, I actually for once thought I was kinda pretty, it made me really happy. So I guess I have that amazing man to thank for for all of this and for me to be in the place I am today. Yes, I completely threw myself into the deep-end considering my first ever time behind the camera was for SuicideGirls, but it was totally worth it and I'm glad I am where I am today!
Oh, and that set that me and Mike shot that day will be coming into MR in 1 month 3 weeks so keep an eye out!
Here's a sneak peak :)
I guess I've had a lot of luck come to me during the past 6 months or so I've been modelling and it's been such an experience.
What's happened since my first shoot with Mike?
Where do I get started!? I've been to 3 Suicidegirls events now (Blackheart and Monster Mash Blitz and Anti-Valentines Day Blitz) and I've had the absolute time of my life at them! I've met so many amazing girls that I can't begin to say how happy I am to have met them.
Let's do a little throw back!
Blackheart Burlesque was the first SG event I went to, and it was only about a month after I started modelling, but I felt so welcomed by everyone and I had the most amazing time. Still going half naked to SG events to this day ;)
Images: @indigo @tumnus @skittlepop @lilymai 's head and a cheeky little kiss with @mikaul - You wouldn't imagine that this was the first time meeting these amazing girls would ya?
Next was the Monster Mash Halloween Blitz, where I met even more beautiful people, including one of my now best friends @phoebe <3

Yes.. yet again half naked.
And the most recent Anti-Valentines Day Blitz

Every single girl I've met at the Suicidegirl events have all been so lovely, it's really nice that I've finally found somewhere that I fit in, and although that everyone lives in different areas of the country that we can all get drunk af and party together! Definitely can't forget about my lovely little @lilymai who I realised I had met at Blackheart without knowing so - she's such a cutie pie and if I turn pink I have to do a multi with her too! <3
On the day of that blitz I did a multi with @phoebe by the amazing @tripodski , and I can't wait to give all of you little teasers!
I also have plans to do mutlis with @blaizee and @kuroha which will be coming up this month!
So, a lot to look forward to!
I've also recently been on the Viceland show Needles & Pins - you can watch it on Sky, NOWTV and on the VICE website now I think! It has me talking about modelling and tattoos, I was dead nervous but it's definitely worth a watch and I think it was such an amazing experience for me considering I'm a relatively new model.
Elite Online Magazine has also featured me a couple months ago which made me really happy!
And I'm going to my first ever shootfest in Provence, France in September! It's a big deal for me considering that I'll be meeting so many amazingly beautiful girls and shooting with some great photographers - I'll let you all know how it goes and maybe do a fuller post about it closer to the event! Yay!
I have so many people to thank for and who I appreciate and love so much within SG and I'm so happy and thankful I've had this opportunity!
I know I don't have any sets out yet either, but my first set comes out in 2 weeks and 2 days which is exciting!
Sneaky preview
Hope this blog wasn't too dull!
Many things to look forward to <3
