Ok so it's been awhile since I've made an entry. I got wrapped up in work, but I've finally finished the project that was keeping me busy and I have some downtime again. So what to do? Well I'm headed down to San Antonio for a couple of weeks - I have tickets to see Game 5 of the Spurs-Lakers series!
So what else have I been up to? I've volunteered a couple more times - one of the kids knows me now and looks forward to the Thursdays that I can come and visit. His name is Sam and he loves to read. In fact, instead of doing arts and crafts he always wants to continue to read. We've been reading some book about these plants that eat socks. Anyway, it's a nice break from work and the kids really appreciate it.

No, it wasn't a bad evening at the SGNY event. I just felt out of it because I had a major headache, and I don't talk to anyone from the group except one or two people on here as it is. So I basically was just introduced around by throatneedle, and that was it.
