I hope everybody had a wonderful holiday. Mine was great. We did the family thing, and of COURSE I worked lol, no rest for the weary here. My sister goes home today to Phoenix, but we did some partying during the weekend. We went to my favorite strip club on Saturday and she (my sis) bought herself 4 freaking lap dances haha! I only bought one, who's the lush? It was great. Then saturday we went to NYC to go shopping. She bought something for her new girlfriend that shes just sooooo smitten with in Tiffany's and I actually bought NOTHING... can ya believe it!? Shiiiiiiit. I wanted an Imi Louis Vuitton bag but couldn't find the one i wanted so boo frickety hoo for me. I'm working my buuuuuuutt off ( my onion butt lol) and yesterday was craaaaaaazy... I swear I drew blood from 15 sets of patients yesterday... had eight going for angioplasty in the morning and for going for bypass... damn! Then 10:45 (I leave around 11ish) we get an angioplasty transfer from another hospital.. so here I am trying to get this guy's EKG, bloodwork, shave and prep, admssion, and orders for morning medications all before I go home! Needless to say I didn't leave until 12:30 cuz doctor was nowhere to be found. Anybody else want career in nursing?
