I've made a life decision. I have been in the process of moving to London for the better part of a year now. This was a decision I made about 15 months ago, and something I've been actively pursuing since then. I changed firms because the new firm said they'd move me over there (not that I'm complaining about the new firm, they are the industry leader) and I gave up my apartment (and consequently certain aspects of my social life) and yet here I sit in the US. So, since I have designs to go to Business School soon (i.e. before I'm 29) I have decided to say screw it. I'm going to get a new apartment and start studying for the GMATs and roll the dice as soon as possible. So I'm officially calling it quits on the expatriot fiasco, and staying in the US. My boss has told me that he'd let me move anywhere in the US I want, and though I would probably prefer to stay in New York, we are opening a San Fran office, and that's kinda tempting.
I'm once again faced with decision time. Damnit.
