Where the fuck have you been?

Where indeed? I've been around. Miami, Ohio, Detroit, etc. I was placed on a new project for work. It's big. Not "big" as in "this'll change my career", but big in the sense of "super complex and full of pitfalls." The fact that I have so much work and responsibility is part of the explanation for my absence, and another part is that I can't get onto the site from the client offices. I think that's actually a good thing because I have so much to do that being distracted is not really an option. So what am I doing to be social? A couple of well deserved cocktails at dinner, and some weekends that alternate between debaucherous and slothful. Is slothful a word?

This weekend was a little debaucherous, but only in the binge drinking sense. No funny business for the kid. I got to see a lot of people I miss, which is nice. I need to go shopping and do some ironing when I get to my secret client location tomorrow. I'm uber-psyched for the 5am wakeup and the flight. I'm being sarcastic.
