Today is certain to be a wash, chaulk it up to relaxing egregiously, chillin' with wild abandon.
I may become productive later but for now a book and my best chair, a little tube time (thank the big Nuke in the sky for TiVo, otherwise TV would be unbearable). Visit my little girl later and the day will be done.
Last night I pal'd around at the bars with the 'fellas, had fun BSn' hotel managers into cheap rooms just for grins and telling them we were booking for a political rep from the Kerry or Bush campaigns to see who got the best response and biggest discounts. I forget who did the best but we found ended up with adjoining rooms for less than 90$!!!
I promptly passed on the room idea, went stright home and passed right the hell out!!!

It has been a hellion of a week at work, lots of highs and lows trying to get a Unit started up and back on line. Between the idiots in the newspapers, the regulators, oversight wing-dings, and equipment failures the Unit has been offline and frustratingly so for a week now. Lightning struck a component and the Unit tripped off line automatically. The newspapers published that there was a Transformer fire (there was no such Fire!). It really burns me when nuclear plants get such bad press!
We do better work more safely and with less damage to the environment than any of the coal/gas plants do. For real!!!
Ignorant people scare me almost as much as they fear my industry. Silly
