Yeah...........
Went to TES FEST on Saturday!!!!!
Lets just say that every bit of the trek to get there and back was well worth the day up there!!!
Long story but for ease on time Suffice this abidged version:
I decided for sure Friday night to give up spending the day with my girl
to go up north. Figured that to be in NYC (Manhattan) by 9 or 10 in the AM, I should get up 'round 3AM. I Wake up finally just before 5, clean up and bail. I take the shortest route, up the eastern shore then right into the NJ turnpike. Right?!! Nope, Gabe (having been influenced by way too many years of Bugs Bunny) took a left somewhere in MD("I guess I shouldn't have taken that left at Albuquerque.") and ended up catching I-295 outside Baltimore 
Oh well whats an extra 100 MILES! But I got there found a place to park! and was there for the 2:30 lecture [pheeew]. Had a great time, caught another lecture after, bought some Awesome stuff, including a work KILT!!!! from UTILIKILTS!!! I can't wait to roll down to the bars etc. in this thing!!! Its awesome, check it out. Met the Helios Project Crew (dirtyprettything & troubley & Cyd) Who were awesome.
Later on I got to see some real pro's at work just playin' around and havin' good times. Everyone was great! It was very refreshing to be around so many open-minded and free-thinking people since I am usually Surrounded by true Right angle SQUARES
To polish off the day I hadn't been able to fulfill the one request that I had received, bring back some Corner Vendor pretzles, I just hadn't crossed paths with any. I walked out of the hotel (it was way late at night and the Who concert at the Gardens had let out) there on the corner I smelled them; and I got to bring home soft Pretzles. Great trip!
