So I have had no meat and feel pretty great about it! It's only been two days but I have done alternatives to what my family had planned, like tonight we had spaghetti and instead of having meat sauce I heated up the sauce alone and added mushrooms. And I really like the Boca burgers and the Morning Star breakfast sandwiches...I prefer them to actual meat.
I was suppose to go visit the school and apartments tomorrow but I can't because my car broke and does not run. It's $250 for the part which I won't have that until my tax return comes in a few weeks...and I don't know how much for the labor. It blows!
I applied for a full time job at a home health care place doing hospice. I'm nervous about it but really hope I get the job. I haven't heard anything back yet but I'm going to give them a call on Monday. I test for my CNA on Thursday, so I should probably brush up on the information. I did get a slight job that I start next week helping out my Aunt who has MS, it will bring me about $50 a week and works around my schedule. One thing I will be able to take from that job is if I can handle her as a patient I will be able to handle anyone...so wish me luck.
My classes are still going well, but I already wish the semester was over, I'm ready to not have any homework for awhile. But so far so good, I have all A's!
I can't wait for Saturday night! Danny is taking the boys (hopefully) and I am having a long awaited girls night! I plan to get shit faced and not have a care in the world...as long as he takes the boys and keeps them longer than lunch time on Sunday. Oh and Lemon Drops...I love Lemon Drops! MMMmmm

I hope that you get that job or at least that all goes well with taking care of your Aunt. I never met her but I know a small portion of what her daughter has been through as a result of stuff with your aunt and uncle. So, I imagine that it won't be easy. Good luck, dear.
P.S. I have been thinking. I know that you are thinking about going to school so that you can do hair. BUT, I think that you would be a lot better off in the long run to stick with nursing. It is something that you are passionate about and something you would do really well with. Being a hair stylist is a lot harder on some people financially and not quite as stable as nursing. Just a thought.
Word Vomit.
