Hmm Hmm Hmm.
It's 8:30 in the morning and I'm beat! Working outside yesterday kicked my ass! But I just realized I have 3 quizzes, 1 exam, a discussion and an assignment that are due today...so instead of doing them I decide to write a blog.
I need to start becoming more active on this site, otherwise I will have to cancel because I will be just wasting my money. So I'll start with some updates:
I've been at Menards for about 3 weeks now. I stock items in the hardware department and recently I started working outside in our garden center on the weekends. It's not to bad actually, in fact I quite enjoy it there. It does help that I'm getting paid, and I make in one week what I get for a month in Child Support. So now I can save up for a reliable car...finally. So far I get along with most the people I work with, but there are a few people that I just do not like. Like this one guy that got hired with me, he has jacked up teeth, and always flirts with the girls and just wants to dick around...well come to find out he is married and has a child...so maybe he should lay off of being a creep. I know I would greatly appreciate it.
I have about four weeks left of school for this semester. I'm still continuing towards nursing. Unfortunately, this semester has been more time consuming and more demanding so I'm not getting all A's, but I'm still receiving A's and B's. So I can't really complain to much. Come this summer I will be taking four more online classes which will be good to just get them out of the way but I will have about half the time as I do now...I think I just like to stress myself out. After summer I will be returning to the community college here to take lecture classes and labs. I have a full-time year and a part-time half year to finish up the rest of my prerequisites. Next spring I'll start applying to nursing schools in the surrounding areas. My goal is OSF, but I will settle for any of the surrounding schools. As much as I would love to move out, I think I will be residing at my parents house until I'm finished with school. Unless I find a rich handsome guy who wants to buy me a house and pay for me to live...so looks like my parents house it is. I guess I can't complain to much, I don't pay rent and I constantly have free baby sitters readily available.
Shawn and Landon are doing fantastic! Shawn is turning four at the end of May, it is absolutely insane to think he is already that old. He is loving school and doing so well, we recently went to his parent/teacher conference and they told us he is so social now and is extremely smart. I hope he stays this much in love with school as he gets older because he it will help him out with life tremendously. On the 9th Shawn is starting a parent/tot swim lessons and he is absolutely stoked...as am I. Landon is now 3 months old, and it seems so unreal. He is really starting to develop his own personality. He is always so happy and loves to smile and laugh. I got lucky with having such calm babies.
I'm in the process of losing some extra baby weight. My hips and butt are a little curvier than they use to be. Unfortunately, my boobs are back down to being itty bitty. But my midsection to me is gross. Working at Menards has helped me tone up a bit, lifting 40+ pound boxes onto shelves is a really good workout in its self. I'm working on it though, I know they say 9 months on 9 months off, but I really don't want to wait 6 more months to have my old tummy back. Plus, swim suit season is just about here and I want to look good rocking my new bikini.
<---Shawn is home sick and picked this face out for everyone :]

you being more active on the site would be an awesome thing. I'm home sick also. I'll pick this face

You are a very strong person to take care of two kids and still find the time and energy to better yourself with school. My sister who is 29 had two kids when she was very young. Her kids are 10 and 11 now and she just finished up her associates in buisness and plans to attend a 4 year school this fall to get her BA. I work for a University which means I can take classes for free but so far I havn't taken advantage of that yet. I'm thinking of doing an MBA but its just so hard to get the energy up for it.
