My only complaint leading up to Burning Man this year is that I have spent so much time being a leader, a doer, a builder, and an artist that I haven't had any spare time to concentrate on being a just a participant. I can tell you what I am going to build and how it's for the enjoyment of everyone else- but not what I am going to wear. I need to take a fashion break and go shopping or something. I wish I had the time to sew some fabulous stuff, but heh- yeah right...
But no regrets- I wouldn't have it any other way. I'd much rather put the camp and the enjoyment of the collective ahead of myself. In the end I am going to remember whether or not everyone had a great time and not what I was wearing.

One of my friends just agreed to make me a Max costume from Where The Wild Things Are. I am so fucking excited I can't even contain myself. Aside from my undying love and friendship I am going to have to do something super nice for her. How about cook her a gourmet dinner when I get back from the playa...
