I am like unbelieveably happy right now. Eight years ago today, when of my favorite bands to ever be, Five Iron Frenzy, played their last show and retired as a band to go their seperate ways. Today, 8PM CST they announced they want to make another album and eventually tour, all without a label. So they started a Kickstarter to try to raise $30,000 with about a time frame of 60 days. In less than 60 minutes they surpassed their goal. Cloud nine right now. Listening to the live album of their, hopefully, former last show. I have run out of words, so happy!
Happy FIF day! Here's a picture from when I saw them at the second to last show. I am next to Jeff the girl, wtih a bunch of random people I don't know. Terrible picture but I don't care. Today is now too awesome!

Also, that is so cool that a band can have that much support that they raised all of that money in such a short time.
The trees on the coast here they think range from about 200-800 years old, so it's really fascinating to see they've survived so long.
