Alright, never written in here before, but I figure I should start sometime.
Today was a very important day for two reasons: 1) The Take Back the Night March part of Rape Awareness Week was awesome 2) I started reading Cunt for my Comtemporary Feminist Thought class, and I know I'm going to like it.
The first thing about the march is that I wish I could have stayed for the vigil afterwards. Not only did some quality meditation sound nice, but I hate to leave activities I feel are so important. Other than that though, the event was awesome. Walking around campus chanting things like
"2-4-6-8/ No More Date Rape"
"Sexists, rapist, anti-gay/ Don't you take our night away"
and
"Yes means yes/ No means no/ Whatever we wear/ Wherever we go"
It was just invigorating, yet still lighthearted enough that we always laughed when someone chanted one time too many.
Secondly, my feminist thought class was interesting as always. We watched Real Women Have Curves and I thought it dealt with many important issues about gender and culture. Now I need/get to read Cunt for next week. I'm excited to read it, however, I also really need to not only write a response about it, I need to write a damn paper about something by next week!
So I think I'll end noting my reliable procrastination so I can go get my more pressing homework done.

You're lucky we don't have these sorts of lessons in France.
Which writer has written Cunt ? I don't know this book.
You know anorexy is very often a mix with not eating and vomit. You eat nothing and when you eat you go to vomit.
I say feminism is a vice because some of friends tell me I'm too feminist (how can we !!). It is just a joke because i'm not too think. I write and study all day that's all.
yes please tell me about guerillagirls. I just forget to see them when they were in France last year
