a friend of mine had their CD release party last night and i actually had a good time...
he played a live set of experimental noise...stuff... it was great! even without drugs i had intense visuals.
i ran into some old friends and had lots of stimulating conversation.
we didnt get home till around three, then stayed up a few more hours and played guitar. ahhhhh...

Sounds fun. I still get visuals from certain music and settings, or just from being really tired. The gift that keeps on giving!

Sounds like an amazing time! I'd love to have venues locally that'd support gigs as cool as that. Maybe that'd be enough to drag my ass out of semi-retirement.
