Soft you day, be velvet soft,
My true love approaches,
Look you bright, you dusty sun,
Array your golden coaches.

Soft you wind, be soft as silk
My true love is speaking.
Hold you birds, your silver throats,
There golden voice I'm seeking.

Come you death, in haste do come
My shroud of black be weaving,
Quiet my heart, be deathly quiet,
My true love...

For those of us who delight in such things, the twenty first century has, in its unfolding, presented mankind with an array of behavioral paradoves and moral conundrums hitherto unimagined and perhaps unimaginable. Science, traditional enemy of mysticism and religion, has taken on a growing understanding that the model of the universe suggested by quantum physics differs very little from the universe that taoists and...

Have you ever noticed that sometimes no matter how hard we try we are always pulled back into the negativity. I was awoken last night by an old friend that I have not seen in almost a year. She came around to see if I would help her out in her court case against her former ex. ( my former best friend. ) Now I'm...

it sounds like drama you don't need for someone who you don't seem to want to help, and who sounds like she fucked you over. not totally knowing your situation i couldn't say, but just from what you said i would say don't get involved.
boxing_helena:
well in that case i guess it just comes down to how much you care about her....

Haunted by your memory
Tortured by your reality
Aching from our separation
Hurting from our lingering closeness

These foul games our minds play
Erasing the bad, magnifying the good
Remembering not in contexts
Just bits and pieces of the day

A cruel game played by the powers that be
Intertwining two souls
Destined never to be

Sorry for the caffeine induced 4:00am rambling/attempt at well I'm not sure what the hell I was attempting with this one....Think somewhere along the line it was supposed to be poetry. I could always fix it but I always leave my writings the way I first write them.

They have said for years now that we are in the middle of an obesity epidemic. I think I found part of the problem. I pay $150.00 to join the gym, $51.00 a month to stay in the gym, and $45.00 an hour for a personal trainer. maybe its just me but thats kinda expensive. Then again maybe I'm just cheap. Also when choosing my...

When loved ones are suffering
How long do we watch the steady decaying
before pulling the plug

I guess what I'm saying is when someone you genuinely care for is destroying themselves
mind, body and soul
How long can you stay by there side
Allowing all there negativity affect you
Is it ok....Is it right
To cut people off
To cut them out of our...

Wow, tough one. I think that sometimes it is okay. I stayed in a relationship that made me unhappy for a good year and a half, but when I finally "pulled the plug" on it my life got a lot better really quick.

We like to fight for the people close to us, but there's only so much you can do, and there are some people who will drag everyone under with them on their way down. I think that's one of the toughest, most heartbreaking aspects of life.

I wish you the best of luck in trying to find the answer to your question. kiss

I look back on life threw out time especially more recent past. I'v been able to keep no one. From friends to best friends to girlfriends and lovers. They all leave. Maybe it's me. Maybe subconsciously I push you all away out of fear of being hurt. I have always been afraid of letting people in...but in doing so I cause myself that which I...

That rings true enough, "maybe I'm meant to be alone"
I've said that more than once, aaand inevitably I change my mind. There may be a one in a million chance that there is that one person or maybe even two or three that we can connect with. Perhaps we are meant to be alone...but not lonely.

I hurt so bad blackeyed I drove yesterday to Portland maine to go work out in the cold snow under a bridge for 2 hours. Now all my muscles ache. After that though I went out with Ed to Ruby Tuesdays for some food. The Waiter was really kind of annoying. He walked up and was like "Will you fella's be getting anything to eat with...
