finally back in Cali. The flight back was smooth and nice enough, I'm just about over my jet lag, and I'm slowly easing back into life in these United States. Yesterday I had thanksgiving with my family, which was pretty okay. Though at times I felt that it was all a bit much to deal with.
I feel the urge to say something more, but the readjustment is still happening. It's not total culture shock, but I still feel pretty disconnected and dislocated, and an overall wierd feeling.

and i see you're into books. did you perhaps go to fresno state?
of course, by the time i was done with that i was truly needing to get out. so i moved to SF to work on my MA in literature.
again, sorry to give more detail than it appears you were looking for, but fresno state is really a pretty rad school.
