Now I'm in Barcelona, having fun but starting to really feel a drain from all my journeys so far. Since Nice and my last entry I went to Avignon, a very pretty medieval town in the Provence region in the south of France. It was nice but very cold and most things were shut due to the season and it being a Sunday when I got there. I got into Barcelona late last night, was too tired to party much, and spent today looking at the beautiful and bizarre Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia, two creations of the famous and visionary architect Antonio Gaud. I'm here for another two nights, then I head to Crdoba for a night and Madrid for three. I'm in the homestretch now, I only have about two weeks left before coming back to the states, which I'm not as excited about after last week's news obviously, though homesickness is having a greater effect than trepidation about the future of our country.
hasta luego!
hasta luego!
