Still in England, but only for tonight. Tomorrow I'm taking a train to Paris to start the Continental part of this journey. Once I get out of my older family members' house and into hostels, I expect this trip will get a lot wilder. So far it's been pretty tame, though very interesting.
It's been so long since the last update, I couldn't possibly describe everything I've done and seen in any detail. Some highlights, though, include a pilgrimage to an English anarchist infoshop and a nice chat with them, going to see a movie and being able to drink a beer in the theatre (Pulp Fiction was right!), beautiful works of art and antiquity at the National Gallery, the British Museum, the Tate Galleries, and Somerset House, feeding my inner propeller-head at the Imperial War Museum, the cramped medieval beauty of Oxford, great views of England's lush green countryside, SUNNY WEATHER, and best of all, taking a bus down to Brighton to hang out with an old friend and his cool housemates, followed by drinking it up in a seafront club (English people, it seems, have good taste in music but few can dance very well).
There's still so much to see and to do, not only in London, but in the whole of these Isles, which I've barely started to explore. Hopefully I'll have the time and money to do so when I get back from the Continent. Until then, ta ta!
