I seem to be having trouble with time management lately
I'm going to school for deaf communication studies because I'd like to be an interpreter for deaf people. The problem is I keep having expressive tests (a test where I either stand in front of the class and sign or sit in front of a computer and record myself signing) lined up next to each other. Like I had a test yesterday and I have another one today. I spent all last week practicing for the test today and so the test I took yesterday was kind of a flop. I know I could have done better if I'd practiced more, but I picked today's test to practice the most. errrrrg aggravating! Hopefully, I'll find a happy medium soon
In other news, I found a new roommate so now I can afford to pay my bills! Cheers to that! We've known each other since high school, and now we work together. He likes to read as much as I do so there's mucho book discussions and as an added bonus he and my boyfriend seem to be becoming good friends too. Awesome
The other day I read one of Stephen King's short stories called "Survivor Type". Wow, I thought it was excellent! No spoilers- I just want to say it was great. It's in the book Skeleton Crew. Lately, I've been reading a lot of his short stories- I really feel like his novels are too drawn out sometimes(maybe even often
) I'm to the point where I'm so stuck on reading Stephen King books that I feel like I'm a person in one of his books who is cursed to continually read his books forever. Does that make any sense? I don't know but I do know that I eventually have to run out of books of his to read.

I'm reading Virginia Woolf's Mrs Dalloway right now, i'm really loving it
The waterfall was in the Blue Mountains in Sydney, its so beautiful
I'll definitely keep that book in mind!
Yeah Dahl's stuff can be hilarious, all his ones aimed at younger kids are still funny to me. But these short stories are a lot more mature, and very... how can I put it... unexpected (hence the title, I suppose haha)
