Sometimes fiction overwhelms me. Sometimes a story can make me feel defeated and hollow.

As silly as it may sound to some of you, those of you who aren't readers and don't care for the fantasy of it all, I have just had the most gut wrenching cry over a book.

Went 'home' for a few days and discovered that I don't belong there anymore. It's funny how you can't go home again.. everything changed and I haven't. I've outgrown my own 'home'.

Ok.. so I'm sober again, but who knows how long that will last.

I'm going to Eau Claire WI this weekend. It takes two hours to drive there and from what I understand if you blink you'll miss it. But, a good friend lives there and it's time that I go visit her instead of the other way around.
