So I went and saw X3. I'm glad I did, because it's a better than M:I:III, which sucked. It is sort of an interesting take on the "should we do this" question, but part of me wonders if they just wanted to make a movie to show lots of explosions and mutant fighting.
It was nice to see a wider variety of powers, but I'm still perplexed by Logan's moments of dotting father figure.
I laugh at all the people who didn't stick around for the 10 second clip that happens after the credits roll. It very definitely sets you up for X4. Or at least the possibility thereof.
Small towns are wierd. I get frustrated by roads being closed for things they don't need to be closed for, which is bad, because there aren't a lot of clearly defined options in this place. There was some parade down the main highway, and it had everything screwed up. They could have just as easily had it on one of the secondaries and not complicated the lives of people who don't care about the founding of a town in the middle of nowhere.
