September, whilst not over yet, is nearing its end and seeing as I haven't posted anything here for a long time, I'll give a bit of a summary of what this month had to offer.
I reviewed three shows for Tsunami magazine this month, all three of which I had to fight to get into because I wasn't on the door list for any of them despite that being a standard practice for the mag. Currently I'm not really sure that I want to write for a magazine that not only doesn't pay their writers but can't even keep their shit together for their dirt-cheap writers' sake.
Oh, and speaking of the magazine, our new guidelines for review writing were just changed, and now our word limit for reviewing a complete show is a paltry 300 words. What the fuck is 300 words? That's enough space to say which venue it was at, which bands played, and not much else. Fuck word limits - especially really unrealistic ones.
Constance is undergoing a few changes... well, not a few, more like a massive overhaul. You could say it's not Constance anymore, and in reality it really isn't, but we don't have another name to call it by yet. Constance is still a band, coexisting with the work we're doing for this new project, but is currently lying dormant for the time being. I don't wanna put too much info into print here - I'd much rather it be a pleasant surprise to those few that care.
The grind band I'm currently writing stuff with lost our guitarist. We'd like a replacement ASAP, as we're on a roll with writing and a lengthy gap could kill it. If you're in the Brisbane area, can play in B tuning, have gig-able gear, and have interest in playing and writing old-school grindcore with some metal to it, lemme know.
Also, I'm really really up for going out and meeting some new people. Too much time in this house around the same people is giving me cabin fever, and it's about time I did some more exploring out in Brisbane.

Musicians who think with their dicks need to be castrated; your house mate included.
Mang, I've got shitzor pedals. Dixons, more accurately. I manage to do beserk nonsensical patterns okay, triplets with the right foot and doubles on the left, it just provides an underlying rumble of doom to whatever else is going on. The straight double kick rolling is what kills me. I probably need more Slayer
