Soundwave was amazing. This was compounded further by the fact that I was able to get a free ticket hours before the festival from none other than Poison the Well, but maybe I should rewind a little bit here.

I interviewed Chris from Poison the Well for the magazine, it ended up being in the lobby of the hotel where I can only guess a...

Yeah the Stooges were pretty damn fine, such a shame we were like in the middle of the SCG,but even at that distence it was amazing, just to hear those songs played the band that wrote em ,i couldnt get the smile of my face for days..the other highlight of the festival was bumping into Bridehead and hanging out with her most of the day.I much prefer my music in grotty lil pubs or squats/warehouses.
I have a months holiday coming up soon so im going to try to sort out a little bit of myself during that time,im slowly making headway but its a struggle at times.Stay strong mate

Hey man, sorry about the quick pass and forgetfulness in N-block today.

I really was late for a lecture and operating on two hours sleep. And, dude, you look so different with all your hair lopped off!

Just wanted to let you know that I feel bad for sort of brushing you off.

I'll buy you a beer at the Guild Bar soon to make amends. smile

These rituals that have me bound no longer hold any appeal. There is no interaction, only exchanges left to chance - words bouncing off their targets, forced and unnatural. The names I've learned merely through repetition, they hold no meaning, no tangible connection. I fail to see why this should continue, this mindless, habitual social masturbation. And as I think 'I wish to see it...

Vinyl haul from Melbs. If I had more money to throw around, this list would be much longer:

Drive Like Jehu - Yank Crime
Pig Destroyer - Prowler in the Yard
Extortion - Terminal Cancer

Missing Link blew my mind. Godflesh, Blood Brothers, California Love, Coffins, Lack of Interest, and more than I could possibly list here... all on vinyl and under one roof. My...

"One of my close friends is Chinese Indonesian and I didn't get crap. Where do I apply for reconsideration?"

Do you scream, "WHERE'S MY ANG PAO BITCH?!" to them at the top of your lungs? That may help.

OR.. you may lose your friend.

Take my advice at your own risk!

That's so fast the guy in front looks like a robot.

I was hungry the other day and that's what I came up with out of the stuff I had around. Not my personal favorite or anything, but it seemed like something that other people might really enjoy.

Of course I will smile

And thank you for the compliment, I appreciate praise about my writing so much. Especially from friends.

Let's start the long process of organising a date for the cut, again.

How's February looking for you? wink

Exactly. Though it's only a worthy thought if you see this as a positive - it's not that nothing matters now .. it is that you can now, effectively, do anything.

Good to hear man, glad it all went well,a little mishap now and again is all part of the rock n roll experience i reckon

Life is good.

I accepted the magazine's offer. Of course I did - not doing so would've made me the dumbest man ever to breathe. I'll know in a few weeks whether I'm the new editor or not, 'til then I'm still working my crappy job and staying enrolled in four courses for first semester '09.

I've started ripping all my CDs onto my new...

Ya know i must be one of the few people who isnt into My Disco, i mean i used to see em when they first started but they dont much for me now..maybe im just a music snob and unless a band plays to 50 people in a squat in Marrickville (orThe Valley) im not interested haha..only kidding..kinda confused
I managed to catch some cool stuff over the last few weeks,i saw The Homicides (from Perth) twice and Captain Cleanoff as well..CC were devestating, brutal stop/start grind
Congratulations on the new job,im sure you will do great,im sure i have read it a few times when i have been up that way
cheers mate smile
