I really need a fuckin' job. I say this because I've honestly grown bored with living like shit and having enough money for rent, food, and not much else. If any of you Brisbane people know of anywhere that needs staff (especially anywhere music-related), gimme a holler. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
A few days ago, I spent all the money I don't have reserved for rent on a new hard drive - and it reminded me of something: having money is awesome, and the way that money can solve problems greatly improves my quality of life and my personal happiness. It's a basic priciple, to be sure, but after almost six months of living off dirt-cheap food and barely scraping by, it came back to me. It's the first big purchase I've made in a very, very long time.
Other than money problems, things are going well. Constance is pretty much ready for shows and we have one in the works - however we're looking to book something before then so we're keeping the date in the dark for now. Candlemas Day finally had another jam with Jobs thanks to him being back from Mackay, which was great considering the guy is quite the genius when putting songs together, not to mention an awesome bass player - he makes me quite jealous, especially when he can make my bass, which hasn't had new strings on it for a year, somehow sound amazing.
I'll end this entry with some shameless whoring of my band. Listen to us.

I'm tryyyyying real hard to get a friend of mine to come out tomorrow night. After a few bad experiences I'm not too fond of going strange places by myself, lol. But usually after a Saturday at work I'm busting for a drink and a bit of socialisation, so you never know... Are you going?
I didn't actually end up going to Freakshow...damn though - everyone said it was awesome...My friend pulled out on me at the last minute (it seems to be the rule with me...) then I drank too much red at home to go anywhere by myself, roflz. Oh well, there is always a next time
