I lived a sheltered life to an extant. No one taught me anything due to the fact that only the boys were favored in the family. I've been busy figuring out how to use checks, pay bills, etc all by myself, because no one taught me and it's been a struggle. Now I have to buy health insurance and ughhh I'm just so confused. I don't make that much, and now I think I have to get another job.
Why I haven't been on much, I'm trying to move out so I can just take care of myself (but don't worry I'm going to live with my friends), been looking at apartments and houses for rent. even at that I know I'll be clueless in discussion when my friends and I have a meeting of apartment choices. ugggghhhhhhhh.

Ugh, I know how you feel. I don't know if my parents never taught me, or if I just wasn't paying attention, but I feel like I've had to learn that kind of stuff on my own, too. I think it's the former.
