Ok... Where to start. Florida, I'll start with vacation
Florida was great as usual. We really love it there. Me and the boyfriend spent almost the entire time in the pool. When we weren't in the pool, we layed around watching TV, read books, watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (loved it!!), and played with my mom's 6 week old Airedale puppies.
I don't have any pics. When we were getting all of our stuff together the morning we left, I couldn't find my camera carrying case. I figured it was no bigg, and was just carrying it. I took pics of random things anyways, so I always had it out. On our flight down to Atlanta, our lay-over, I stuck the digital in the pocket of my seat. When we got off, I forgot my camera. Atlanta is a big airport. Our next gate was in the next terminal over. When we got over to the other terminal, I realized I had forgotten my camera. So, we asked the woman at our desk to call back over to the desk of the flight we had just gotten off of to see if they could grab my camera for me. She sent a flight attendant out to look for it on the plane, who came back and said that it wasn't there... We caught the tram back over to the other terminal, and I asked if I could go look myself. Went on the plane, which was now full and ready to take off again, checked my seat... no camera. So, sometime in the time it took us to get to our other gate, someone stole it. It sucks even more because it was a present from my mom, and we were going to see her... so I was really really depressed.
Luckily the great vacation made up for it
I will say, however, that I am not going to miss some parts of Florida... like the spiders. The bugs down there are just way too big. The spiders down there are bigger than the lizards, and that's kinda scarey. Hell, they probably eat the lizards. I don't like spiders to begin with, and after hearing my mom's story about one of those huge bastards landing on her face while she was sleeping... Yeah, I'm glad to be home.
Except for the bills.
Because of the whole car fiasco, that left our whole house sharing the one car left, we decided last minute to fly down instead of driving. The plane tickets cost me 520 bucks, which was the five hundred bucks I had originally planned on paying to the power company. My last check to them got lost or something, so I owed two months. Well, after not paying them again, I now owe them 887 dollars, in two weeks. There's no waitress wages in the world that can pay for that shit. On top of that, I have the utility bill, the COX bill, the waste-water bill, and my credit consolidation bill that's due in two days. All in all, I owe $1228.49. That, my SG friends, is a sad way to end a great vacation. Needless to say, I've been hideously depressed since going through the mail and finding that out. I haveno idea what I'm going to do. Well, I know I'm not going to have any days off until I can pay that shit, and I'll pull as many double shifts as they'll allow, but even that is not going to give me twelve hundred fucking dollars, a grand of which is due in less than two weeks. So, vacations are nice, but there's just never enough money, and that is why I am never quite as happy as I could be.
Nyerk.
On a good hand, I found a photographer in Virginia Maybe I'll be able to get a set up, finally. It won't pay the bills, but it's something.

i can shoot digitally or on film... film tends to look better, but the film i use is 7 dollars a roll, plus developing it and scaning the negatives would be extra.
if you shot it in my studio (which is not quite set up yet) i could give you all the pictures before you leave...
i am not the best at photoshop, so id recomend getting someone else to do that, but i could do it, but that would be extra...
as far as ideas go, its totally up to you... just dont make me shoot anything on a bed, or with fairy wing on or something...
but yeah, let me know if you are still intrested, it might be better to drop me an email drivenbyboredom(at)gmail.com

It makes sense I guess. Replacing the lost itemwith an exact replica is like telling fate that it can't beat you.
