Ok, ok, I'm updating
I went out tonight with a girl from work. A friend!! I'm so excited. We instantly hit it off, and it's like we've been friends forever. We just get each other. We went to Red Lobster, and had some oh so yummy seafood.... I love seafood... hmm... I might go peck at it some more
I really can't tell you how great it is to meet someone. Not that I don't love the hell out of my boyfriend, cuz Gods... do I, but having a friend, it's just different. So, Yay
Not much else other than that. OH!! Guess what I did? Two times, I have sat in chairs and they have broken. Now, don't get me wrong, both were cheap, one was old, but imagine how fat I felt... Sucked. Everyone else laughed and blew it off, but it bothered me. I'm not even like pudgy or anything, but I guess I'm self conscious, and that's enough to bother me.
Oh, yeah, my snake ate!!!!!!!! I was so excited. Cheiron got his very first food, a mouse. He didn't have any problems after realizing it was food... For a minute he just watched it, then it was like it struck him all of a sudden, and he was all about that mouse. He's getting SO friendly, too. He asks nicely to be let out of the tank (by climbing to the top of the limb, and looking out the top of the mesh top until open it) and he even lets me pet his head, which is generally touchy for snakes. He hangs out in my pockets. He'll go in one, and hang out for hours. He loves to see what I'm doing, and he likes to sit on my stomach while I read.
In puppy news, Dori, my little brat, keeps getting out of her collar. My last puppy ran away from home two years ago (my roommate left the door open while I was at work one day, and I never saw her again...) and I'm terrified that Dori will get lost without her tags. So, I had to go by her a leather collar with a buckle so that Shelly can't snap it off. Being smart puppies, Shelly has figured out how to snap it off, and pulled off Dori's collar like twice a week. So, new collar, no more un-snaping.
I'm reading Angels and Demons, and, wow... it's good I read Davinci Code last year, and this is the prequel, so of course I have to read it. I'm loving it!!! I'm going to go read soon, as a matter of fact.
Not much else new. Work is work, my guy is great, my pets are great, my house is great, and I have friends...
Life is good.

That's so cool that you have a friend. It's a lot easier for girls to meet new friends than guys. It's kind of weird for a guy to go up to another guy and say "So, hey, you wanna hang out some time?"
Puppies rock. I want one.
Glad to see you updated and that you are still alive.
Later.
Honest to God, I have had something stuck in my throat since Friday night. I went to the doctor, he sent me to a specialist and now the specialist is sending me to get some xrays and shit. They can't find anything. You have no idea how fuckin' irritating this is. I've tried not to mention it too much, but I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!
I really haven't eaten anything but a couple bowls of soup since Friday night. Everytime I eat something, I just end up pukin' it back up cause of whatever's stuck in there.
The specialist I went to says, "So, did you eat anything today?"
"No"
"You didn't eat anything at all today?"
"No"
"Did you try to eat anything today?"
"No"
"So you haven't eaten anything all day?"
"No"
Jesus, I swear to God, he asked me that question sixteen fuckin' times.
There, I feel a little better. Thanks for listening to me vent.
I just might have to pick up Angels & Demons. I usually read non-fiction, but I could use a fast read. Usually the fiction I read is like grandiose, uppity, pulitzer prize winning shit. I'm such a pretentious asshole sometimes.
