Today's weather has been the absolute flip side of yesterday. It's been cold and rainy all day. I've only left my apartment once. I felt like being a hermit.
I finished reading Aleister Crowley's The Book of the Law on this rainy afternoon. This an interesting and thought provoking book, and it has some terrific passages in it. One that stood out at me is one that I used in a comment in another Friend's journal earlier today:
"I give unimaginable joys on earth : certainty, not faith, while in life, upon death ; peace unutterable, rest, ecstasy ; nor do I demand aught in sacrifice."
I will look forward to reading more of Crowley's writings.
