Has anyone else here upgraded to Internet Explorer 7 yet? I had that update pop up on my computer today so I went ahead and did it. I have to say I like it so far. It's laid out a bit differently, but it takes no time at all to get used to it. I've noticed that certain fonts look different but in a good...

It feels really good to see how happy and excited he is to be in a home. He's already soooo spoiled!

The weather here tonight is enchanting and mesmerizing. It's cold, windy and rainy. One of my perfect combinations actually.

I'm looking forward to a four day weekend. Anyone have any holiday plans?

Squirrels crack me up! I keep a regular supply of black oil sunflower seeds out by my deck for the birds (I love to see and hear the cardinals) and the squirrels. Sometimes I forget to replenish the stock. This one particular squirrel is quick to remind me when I've forgotten. He will sit there on the wood framing of my deck and stare at...

Today's weather has been the absolute flip side of yesterday. It's been cold and rainy all day. I've only left my apartment once. I felt like being a hermit.

I finished reading Aleister Crowley's The Book of the Law on this rainy afternoon. This an interesting and thought provoking book, and it has some terrific passages in it. One that stood out at me is...

Wow! The weather was absolutely beautiful here in Raleigh today. We set a record high of 80 degrees! shocked I was able to wear shorts all day. Crazy, but good. This wonderful weather inspired me to wash, vacuum and wax my car. That thing is shiny and clean. biggrin

I hope everyone else is having a good weekend.

I almost forgot. Today is Veteran's Day. We have...

and Glooooooomy as fuck!

I LOVE FALL!
Although Obvious weather differences where you live VS my current location...I love it tho...This city is my home for the last 13 yrs, and prolly 13 more...Although, I DO remember the Fall in the South, as I was living in Florida for a good chunk of my timeline...

I am glad you have reached out to a more diverse group...I always never keep myself to one 'doctrine' (Its impossible as my Templar bloodline always teases me with A Gnostic...) But the reality is well...you know.

Have you been tempted to try on an Aleister Crowley book?

I suggest for the first one?
DIARY OF A DOPE FIEND...it isn't a book of spells or configurational info, it will let you know him before you judge him...

Just one of those books I recommend to people who wish to see what this life can do....

Hope all is well....(At least the weather is!! Be strong!)

I had an interesting experience at the gas station this morning. I went to fill up my car, and I set the pump handle for automatic shutoff - as I always do. Well, on this particular occasion, it didn't work once the tank was full! Gasoline proceeded to spew all out of the tank and onto me as well. Yuck! I totally smelled like gasoline...

There's another video of me in this entry. I don't like it as much, but you might. I ought to take another video today.

Oh no! I hope you find your cat! My kitten disappeared when I was in California a few months ago, and I think someone else decided to keep him. I miss my little Kafka!

I bought myself a present today - a new car stereo. I decided to go with this Sony model. All I can say is "Wow!" This thing sounds great. I decided to try it out first with the song "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse" by Dimmu Borgir (a very epic song). Needless to say, I was very pleased. love

This actually leads me to a question...

I don't have an iPod, I know I am like one of the last 5 people on earth who don't have one... I dig plain 'ol CDs
madeleine:
Damn, that's a fine stereo.

I love iPods, but if there were some way that I could rig up a portable record player in my van, I'd be more than happy with that.

I have a theory about the Friend's list. If you delete a person, and you can't even remember who you deleted a few moments later, then that must be a good thing.
miss_halo:
Thats true. Friends are meant to stay in otuch. If ya just want a big number to make yourself feel popular, theres myspace

Damn, it's cold here tonight. Although the central heat does just fine, the fireplace is in full effect tonight. There's just something mesmerizing about a wood burning fireplace.
