this is going to be my first post of a more personal nature, so we'll see how it goes.
*WARNING HIGHSCHOOLESQUE DATING DRAMA*
there's this girl at work that i really like, she's beautiful and smart and funny and we get along well. neither of us are in relationships so i decided to ask her out. i got the whole "i like you a lot and i like hanging out with you but i'm happy with my life as it is right now" speech. so, i'm thinking, that's fine i guess, i should just move on and forget the whole thing. now the problem is, since we work at the same place, we see each other at least 4 days a week, she calls and texts me all the time, we have the same friend base and therefore see each other at parties and such all the time and i quite frankly don't want to move on. how do i deal with this? i think i need to separate myself from her for a bit, but how do i do this without alienating myself from social gatherings and making her feel as though she's done something wrong?
