Continuing on the iPhone tip here's some more quick app reviews:
Flight control (59p): Simple concept & starts easy enough, but gets fiendishly difficult. Has that 'one more go' thing.
Camerabag (1.19): Photo app, similar in some ways to the wonderful Hipstamatic. On the plus side, you can add the effects to photos you've already taken, but on the downside, there's a limited range of effects & they don't feel as organic as Hipstamatic.
C64 (Was on offer, Free): A Commodore 64 on your iPhone. The bundled games are a bit crap, but there are more to download, (both free & paid for if I remember right,) including some classics.
National Trust (Free): Planning a trip? See where there is to go of interest.
This is the biggie - from the makers of Hipstamatic, comes Swankolab (1.19): An old school darkroom where you mix chemicals to get different effects. Select your photo, add your chemicals. The order you add them matters & you have limited slots to add them to. Most chemicals take several slots. Then you turn on the safe light and agitate your image in the solution and finally view the finished image in a drip line type scenario, which you can then save or send out.
This is another awesome iPhone app from these guys and for another 1.19 you get a lifetime subscription to any new chemicals that come out! Adds 9 additional chemicals to start with.
Great fun to be had experimenting with combinations and there is even a notebook so you can name and save your favourite formulas!

And finally, one from CameraBag (again, old N95 pic.):
