Well, I yesterday was a holiday (Canada Day) and I took today off from work to make a 4-day weekend. So today I'm just hanging out at home, listening to music and cleaning. It's weird, I always procrastinate cleaning (although I'm not talking letting my place turn into a complete wreck), but once I get started I usually wind up cleaning the place top to bottom.
I was going insane with boredom yesterday, so it's nice to be doing SOMETHING today, no matter what it is. I don't know what was wrong with me, but I was just really anxious and bored at the same time. Like, I really wanted to do something, anything.. but every idea that came to me I didn't want to do. Ugh. But, I went to see Pennywise last night, which was a lot of fun. They always put on a great show with lots of energy. I don't really listen to them that much anymore, but they're not one of those bands you forget about and wonder why you ever liked them. They still totally kick my ass.. Plus, as I said, they put on a great show every time as well. They had everyone singing Oh Canada before they started, which was kind of weird.. and when they ended with Bro Hymn the whole crowd kept singing even after they finished, and so they started playing again and basically went through the song again. Too good.. I love it when the band AND crowd are both full of energy. Wheee.. so yeah, a good ending to a crappy day. Definately better than the other way around.
And my gf gets back from her trip back home this evening.. woohoo! Human contact!
ps. Posted a few new pix.

Yeah, I've been very lucky to be able to pursue the things I do. I don't do either for a living, however - which is good and bad - I'm a web-geek by profession. Luckily I've got a very understanding wife who is ultra cool about the time that I dedicate to my hobbies. Hell, she's been hanging out at the house all weekend feeding the band, cleaning, hanging out and being the kick-assed chick that she is. Indeed, I'm very lucky.
Hope you're able to do everything your heart desires - you can do it too!
